Hi, I was shopping for a 4 inch lift kit when I cam across a Mammoth kit that was on sale. However the kit says it is for an 03-06 TJ and I have a 98. My question is: is there really a big difference? I would love to take advantage of this sale but obviously not if it wont fit. Does anyone know if this kit will or wont fit?

I can't vouch for if they will fit or not, and I am fairly sure they will, but I'm pretty sure their coils are US made and their shocks are rebranded skyjackers. Not a bad kit for the cost and hopefully someone can chime is if they will fit or not

If the lift replaces the skid plate then it will not work. There was a change between '02 and '03.

I looked up the kit I assume he's talking about and it has two skid plate spacer bars. It is also on sale on a 'website that shall not be named' if its the one that I found.
Bottom line, the arms springs shocks swaybar extensions, etc. all the same.

So the difference between the two different model years are the skid plate? I kinda always wondered this myself. I have a 06’ LJ, and a 99TJ.
