My brother owns a 2017 JKU Sahara that came with the Nav head unit.
he wants to add a back up came to it and was looking at these two items to do it.
PAC BCI-CH41 Navigation Unlock and Back-Up Camera Interface Jeep Vehicles
https://www.amazon.com/PAC-BCI-CH41...rd_wg=LI3e3&psc=1&refRID=KKJDARQE4C4RR7QQ7QMZ
and
Pac INTELLIGENT 4 CAM SWTCHR
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MZE1FK...colid=9HK3OJMRYG3E&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

Does anyone have any experience using these two together?

Any imput would help or if you have any other recommendations.

As much as I am interested in this... I think you should delete the link to the write up by the other forum.... it is against the rules and disrespectful to the owner here.... [emoji1360]

Sorry. It’s deleted.

Cool.... looking forward to seeing what you come up with using the stock head unit. This is one thing I wish my Rubi came with.

I used the harness in my earlier post and this camera;
Gino 1/4" CCD Flush Mount Backup Rear View Camera https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B2ZD7OS?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

Run a video cable from the camera to the harness. Run the power wire of the camera to a positive lead off the back up light. I mounted the camera in a hole I drilled into the bumper. I had to get the dealer to flash the computer. Since the dealer was going to charge for an hour of labor, I had them also add the code for extra monitors. Don’t plan on getting them any time soon, but if we had kids it would be great for long trips.

It seems there is a bci-ch21 version also that may be more simplified for only one camera... I definitely am interested in these PAC setups as well, because you can run the camera while driving, and you don’t have to flash through dealer.

Edit: I found a thread here that explains the install:
