Windshield hinge question.

Finally back into a Wrangler. I’ve had a Wj for pat 2years. Just not the same. I purchased a 2004 TJ. I need to do some minor body work to the windshield hinges. My question is can I just unbolt them paint them and reinstall them or do I have to remove the windshield?

We just took ours off sanded and painted leaving the windshield in place, just becareful to make sure the frame doesn't move when you pull the bolts or you end up with the headache or realigning it with everything
