I came across this new hydraulic jack, would it be safer? Useful on the trail?

Obviates the risk of getting hit in the face with the handle, but otherwise seems to carry the other risks of a hi lift.

But a Hi lift locks mechanically while this being hydraulic could bleed off. You could make the argument that it is less safe.

Its ARB...if you go into a flyfishing shop, anything with the Simms name cost 20% more for the identical product from someone else...

Haha Ain’t that the truth!
Still haven’t found a pair of waders to beat Simms yet though. Haven’t tried Sitka yet which will be my next pair when/if my Simms blow out.

After witnessing Eddie use the bottle jack on the trail to fix Moby.... which appeared safe, easy to use and is compact.... I can’t see the need for anything else.

What size bottle jack is big enough and will fit in the spot for the factory jack?
