Thanks for the response.... Yeah everything looks very solid and runs like a champ. Will be replacing the engine mounts and all of the bushings.

Once I get down to just the rolling frame can get better inspection.

Thanks- Yeah has been many years since being around a classic Jeep... looking forward to making it safe and spruce it up.

Got some additional tear down work completed last night.

Been a while since I updated my thread here....

    The work continues...

making some good progress on the Restoration process...

Installed the new Brake shoes and hardware- final stages of getting the new Fuel and Brake lines routed and anchored down...

Soon the Rolling Chassis will be finished and will be time to start the paint prepping on the New Steel Body- Fenders- Hood- Tailgate etc...

Thanks- Feels good to be making solid progress on the old girl.

Will be going with a Dark Green Metallic Pearl on the paint which will look great with the new Spice color interior I have.. Here is my inspiration!

That is gorgeous. I love the side pipes, I keep contemplating that for my 8. Can’t wait to see the body getting set on!

About us
“wayoflife” is a moniker that I’ve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
