New job. New places.

I've come to drink from the well of knowledge. Not about Jeeps, but about locations.
I have been looking for a new job for about 6-7 weeks now. My time in NJ is growing very short. I have three locations that are possibilities and I'm looking for information about these areas. Since you guys are scattered far and wide, I figured this is the ideal place to start.

The locations are:
- Near Wilkes-Barre, PA
-Near New Orleans, LA
-North of Baton Rouge, LA

The two in Louisiana are the same company, just different sites.

Any info, good or bad, is appreciated.

Thank you.

Well I have spent a lot of time in Louisiana and can say that it’s hot and humid most days. But the people and the food are great. If you have kids make sure and check the school ratings for the area before moving in. Ask about flooding in the area , which is a common thing in Louisiana. Make a weekend trip and explore the area, make sure you will like being in the community before you take a job and get stuck somewhere you find you don’t want to be. Don’t be afraid of the boudin, or the Gumbo!

Thanks for the info. I will keep all that in mind as I go through the process.
I've been to New Orleans twice before and I love the food there. May be a big factor in the decision.
