our first trip to Moab easy enough to get there from the Mid West, plenty of places to stay in town but not that many rooms on the week end, plan ahead, better than any Jeep/car show, lot of cool rides, not to mention TRZ running up and down main street. we stayed at Big Horn Lodge, parking was a bit crowded, you just had to park on the street and wait for a space to open up. first day we flipped a coin and took in the sites of Canyon lands and the Shaffer trail, not very crowded which made it nice for a Sunday trip, then off to the White Rim Trail, a bit more challenging, found it just fine, but we were warned by a local guide doing a tour to be carful where we drove if it rained, left town early got back late, had dinner and fell into bed,

next day off to Arches Nat park, got there half hour after it open, 50 cars ahead of us, all asking the gate guard questions, once in, traffic wasn't to bad. The arches were nice but way crowded, we did the Tower Arch trail and ended back at route 191, no damage to the Jeep but it sure shook us up (-:, airing down is a must so you don't shake your machine apart, back to canyon Lands to do some hiking.

found out there us a Uranium clean up site just as you enter town, there digging up the ground and burying it just north of Moab at 191 and interstate 76, cant miss the gas station there. lots of Alien trinkets,

left Tuesday morning after doing for tee shirt shopping. got lost on the way home,, it was great, need to go back soon
