The transformation has begun

So, I have bought my new wheels and tires for my 2011 JKR which will be fitted as soon as they arrive and the lift kit is waiting to be installed.
In preparation I got stuck in yesterday and trimmed my fenders, trimmed the pinch seem on the front of the rear wheel wells and shortened the rock sliders by about 1". I still have to put on some door trim edge around the fenders which should be done by around Tuesday.
Living out in the country, it is a bit difficult to get supplies and so most of the stuff has to be sent from the bigger cities.
This morning I used the old heat gun treatment on my fenders and I must say it was simple to do and certainly made a big difference. The whole fender rejuvenating exercise took about 30 minutes.
After the lift, and tires it will be the 10th Anniversary hood and a 12,500lb Runva winch, but that will have to wait for the finances to build up again.

Here are a few pics:

Tim is on the fenders, but still waiting for the lift kit. It had to be ordered from the USA.
The trim makes a huge difference although it doesn't show it in this pic
