The code says EGR Pos Sens Rationality what exactly does that mean? Any input will be helpful

Means that your egr valve is not closing/opening properly. Try lightly tapping on it or cleaning it. Probably will need replaced.

Could also be an issue with the wiring. Possible short. Or ground issue.

If it's a 3.8l, a good carbon cleaner like 44k may fix it. Our code will stay cleared for months. Been going on for a couple years. When we ran 44k through it, it stayed off the longest.

if you replace the egr, pull the fender liner and spend the 10 bucks for the stubby 3 inch box end wrench. saves hours of cussing

Never tried 44k. But I had that code come up about a month or 2 ago. Dumped what I left of a can of sea foam in the gas tank on whim. Light went out 2 days later and hasn’t come back. Coincidence? Possibly but from reading it’s a PITA to change so I will hold out as long as I can.
