Caught the Bug
Just picked up this 1999 4x4 a few weeks ago.Going to use as a daily driver for now and build it up mild as I fix some things.Has a bunch of small issues, the oil filter adapter leaks, stereo doesn’t work etc..
Debating on 3.5” lift with 31s or 4.5 with 33s right now.

Nice Jeep! A friend of mine bought one like that a few years ago. He and his son worked on it together to be a reliable 1st vehicle for his son.

Nice Cherokee! Congrats. I think you’ll find there are lots of issues you can fix in your garage and tons of good donor vehicles you can grab serviceable parts off. Here in the foothills of the Colorado Rockies they are often a weapon of choice for everything from daily drivers to hard core wheelin’. Enjoy! :thumb:

Nice Jeep! Good luck with the build. Just FYI, oil filter housing leak is just an O- ring. Super easy fix. You might have already known that. It's a very common problem on 4.0's.
