UPDATE: I was driving, everything was fine at first as usual. Then as I was driving the engine started sputtering again and I held down the gas but it was not accelerating at allll, it also smells like dead fish or coffee beans in here but it might be just where Iím at. Not 100% sure. But yea I floored it and Iím not getting above 15 mph and I popped the hood open and manually pressed the throttle body and it still did the same thing. Itís a v6 but it shook like crazy and sounded like only 3 or 2 cylinders were firing correctly

Bad catalytic converter would be the cause of the smell. You have a v6 in your TJ?

I had bad O2 sensors on the driver side that kept making me misfire while driving. Originally thought the same things as you. I got a code that led me to check them though. Swapped them out and it was all good again. This was at 70k miles

Yep, and to prevent it never feed your cat pastrami sandwiches and cheese

About us
ďwayoflifeĒ is a moniker that Iíve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
