Cheapest way for a rear bumper is, no rear bumper at all. Many members here run with just EVO facia and D-ring mounts. I personally like the look and run that setup myself, paired up with a Genright carrier. You can few different ways about the carrier.

Check out the Destroyer Series on our website: http://www.lodoffroad.com

We also have a rear view camera solution for the Jl, so that the tire carrier can be opened while maintaining camera function. ;)
As LoD mentioned they have solid products. I'm running they're Gen 3 rear signature series stubby with tire carrier. It's the unlatched version and isn't too difficult to operate. I've been very happy with it and when my latch broke they were quick to send a replacement no charge.

LōD is what I had. Stout setup and great tabs welded on for D rings.

Also RockHard4x4 makes some nice strong bumpers. Plenty out there just depends how much you wanna spend and what your ideal setup is (trail rack, rotopax mounts, linked carrier etc.)
