Great basin NV. Top of wheeler peak

Took off for a couple of weeks first stop the Nevada gem Great Basin park on the way to the top of Wheeler peak incredible 8+ mile hike pretty sure if you look hard you can see Moab and Carson city highly recommend a visit

I live in Elko, and have yet to make it to wheeler peak. Old boss would usually visit it every year.

Off to the incredible Utah
First stop the Uintas to hike the tallest mountain in the Wasatch range mt Nebo
on our way to the distant peak on the north peak 1 mile to go and zero water got a hole in my hydration bladder decided to abort

Sorry to hear about the equipment failure. Always hard when it's not a physical limitation. You made a smart choice in turning around. Now get back up that mountain!

Don't give up! Go to town and pick up a new bladder. Try again tomorrow. Who knows when you will make it back for a second attempt!

Thanks man, coming from elevation of 30' in California it's amazing how much water you consume at +10k we are already home but we will be back to crush it soon

Thank you, You and your wife's videos and photos have been a true inspiration. We get out and get lost every chance we get and I have to say Nevada is truly an undiscovered gem. Just hoping the internet does not ruin it.
