Came across a CJ 5 1975 looking for any infomation on them what do I need to look at and how hard is it to find parts for this vehicle and where to find them.

Caught the Bug
The value just isn't there for what it would cost to ship it anywhere. Cj5/7 bodies are still plentiful and aftermarket is huge to repair original ones. If it was rare that might be different.
If you keep your eyes open, you can find a decent whole Jeep for $2000-$2500 and ship it anywhere in the continental US for between $500- $1500.
I'd pass on it honestly.

Have some pics that I want people to look at for the CJ5

looks good for the age. Places to start looking for body rot (rust) are the floor pans under the drivers and front passengers feet. Also where the “A”Pillars hit the floor. The rear quarters also take some punishment. Check underneath those. Those engines are pretty bulletproof if they are running.

As far as parts and working on them, there are not many vehicles that are as easy or have more parts available than the CJs. Compared to new jeeps they are simple to work on. EBay and craigslist will be your friend looking for OEM used parts. Otherwise, the part sites are great for new stuff.
