RANCHO JL Wrangler 2" Sport Lift Testing on the Deer Valley Trail

For the first time in maybe over a month, Cindy and I were actually home on a weekend and as luck would have it, we got a call from our good friend Adam asking if we wanted to do some wheeling. Of course, being that we just installed a brand new Rancho 2" Sport Lift on JET Li, our 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited, we were eager to get it out and test it on the trail and having a friend along would make it that much easier. Needless to say, the following pics are from the run we did up the Deer Valley Trail. I apologize in advance for not having as many pics as I'd prefer but we spent most of our time filming this trip. :)

Here are a few shots at the start of the trail, down in the Hermit Valley. As you can see, it's low range work right from the get go.

I think this just might be the very first time I've seen Adam with WORKING front and rear lockers - LOL!

Along the way, we came across a tree with the most alien looking fungus growing on it.

Bright yellow with red highlights, this fugus was rubbery to the touch and was oozing water or some kind of liquid.

Being in a 2-door and with the right breakover angles, Adam decided to take on this obstacle and almost had it.

Unfortunately, one of the smaller rocks at the base kicked out and wedged itself between the rear tire and frame. Fortunately, this gave him a chance to do a little winch testing.

Further along the trail, we came across an old CJ who was in a jam and so we got to do a little winch testing too.

A BIG THANKS needs to go out to Adam and Tina for getting Cindy and I out on the trail and to cover us as we tested out our new Rancho 2" Sport Lift. For those of you who are wondering, the kit performed great and I still can't believe that it only costs $640! As I had eluded to, we do have a video in the works and we do hope to get it out sooner than later. :)

Awesome pics! How did the lift perform?

Honestly, the lift did great! Ride is way more comfortable that before. I still can't believe it's just a $640 kit... $540 if you take advantage of the $100 rebate Rancho is offering!

Great photos and report as always! Look forward to seeing the video! 🍻

That looks like a fun and beautiful trail.. would love to run that one sometime.

Thanks - it really is beautiful up there. Definitely one I think you'd like.

Looks like a great day! Thanks for sharing. 🤙

It was for sure, glad you liked the pics :)

Looks like a really fun trip, the fungus almost looks like montipora plate coral. Seems like both Jeep’s did great[emoji106]

Coral is definitely what it looked like. Weird stuff

LOL!! The seat cover did such a great job that when I let Tessa out, there was a puddle of water sitting on top of it :yup:

You guys got some great pictures! Thanks for leading the way and going out last minute. We had a blast and look forward to the next one!

Thanks again for the invite. We had a great time with the two of you and it's always nice to have backup on the trail when testing out new products :yup:

Only picture I have to add is this sweet old Willy’s flatbed truck we saw.

That thing really was sweet.
