It just heats on to the firewall which is making the cabin hot. Not necessarily hot air. Could this have caused damage to the engine? Also that heat is still there. I usually rub odorless so maybe I just think its extra hot

That is PCV hose, connects to your air box, and has nothing to do with getting hot.

I wonder if that flapper door that switches from heating to cooling is stuck on heat? I think you will feel hot air even with the fan off

I don't know what year your Jeep is or where you're located, but I'm my 08, I keep my fan on low all the time in the summer even when running doorless because of all the radiant heat these fuckers generate. I'm guessing it's normal what you're experiencing.

Yeah I usually run doorless and this has to be my first time running doors with no carpet so I imagine what I experienced was normal. Also I have an 07 so same engine.

Lol. No carpet even worse. I've had pens melt on the floor and I have carpet.

That's unreal man. I removed the drain plugs so I keep nothing in the jeep that could fall out but pens melting is impressive. Also love the color of your rig man. I couldn't find the same color when I was shopping for mine.Lol. No carpet even worse. I've had pens melt on the floor and I have carpet.

Thanks for the kind words... I wasn't shopping for a color when I bought her, just tried to find a 2 door Rubi under $20k. The color grew on me and when I found how rare it was it made me like it even more.
