Emergency. Random hose not connected.

Today I started feeling really hot air in my cabin and decided to check it out in the engine bay. 2 seconds in I notice a disconnected hose. Think its my air intake hose. Sound right? 20180818_114400.jpg 20180818_114436.jpg 20180818_114440.jpg

Looks likes your pcv valve hose. Give me a few minutes and I'll go out to the shop and see where I'd goes.

Edit: nevermind, looks like you have it right. Should go to the air box.

That wouldn't cause hot air to go in your cab.

Maybe it pulls hot air from the cabin?

It just heats on to the firewall which is making the cabin hot. Not necessarily hot air. Could this have caused damage to the engine? Also that heat is still there. I usually rub odorless so maybe I just think its extra hot

I don't know what year your Jeep is or where you're located, but I'm my 08, I keep my fan on low all the time in the summer even when running doorless because of all the radiant heat these fuckers generate. I'm guessing it's normal what you're experiencing.

Yeah I usually run doorless and this has to be my first time running doors with no carpet so I imagine what I experienced was normal. Also I have an 07 so same engine.

Lol. No carpet even worse. I've had pens melt on the floor and I have carpet. 🤣

That's unreal man. I removed the drain plugs so I keep nothing in the jeep that could fall out but pens melting is impressive. Also love the color of your rig man. I couldn't find the same color when I was shopping for mine.

Lol. Yeah, who needs to do a burrito warmed on the manifold when you can just through it on the floorboards. 🤣

Thanks for the kind words... I wasn't shopping for a color when I bought her, just tried to find a 2 door Rubi under $20k. The color grew on me and when I found how rare it was it made me like it even more. 🍻

Haha, same except I was looking for a JK under 12K. The color is very uncommon, I think I saw it twice in person. And it would be a bed liner flavored burrito [emoji23].
