Lowered

Anyone know if I can lower my 4x4 HIGH ALTITUDE KL?

I have a cj3 and JKU... So the toys are no worry.

My KL is a freeway 10 hour commuter each way. The most off road it sees is grass or a dirt road.

Any thoughts?

Jeep designed it to be as efficient as possible, meaning that every aspect of the vehicle is maximized for efficiency in its stock form. Generally speaking I’m not sure how a lowering kit would help on road dynamics. Lowering it wouldn’t change the drag coefficient of the vehicle.

Now this being said I know NOTHING about lowered vehicles so if I’m totally wrong correct me, but from my general understanding of lowered cars it doesn’t change much

Definitely needs a new knuter valve. Instant on road performance dynamics.

Who the fuck lowers a 4x4 vehicle except rappers? Want a better commuter buy a commuter car.

A. Not a rapper
B. Would make it unique
C. Apparently, lower ( less hight from road) makes it more fuel efficient at high speeds and it is susposed to handle better. 🤷🏽*♂️

Just running thoughts thru head trying to make it uniquely different.

Commute of 677 miles.
It gets 30mpg with the V6. So I'm happy with that.

Lowering kits, in general, cup kits coil overs etc, normally ride like ass. I’d stick with stock if it’s your commuter.

I didn't know that.
I've never lowered anything or been in anything lowered.
It sure rides great as stock.

It's not a trail hawk, it's a high altitude, so I'm limited in build options... But. It's a jeep so I've gotta do something to make it MINE. 🤣
