When we first got Jane, our 1974 CJ-5 Renegade, we were just hoping to breath a little new life into her old iron and pretty her up just a bit. Ultimately, we were hoping to wheel her and the idea of "restoring" her never really came to mind or at least, not until it was too late. Seeing Omix-Ada's "The Outlaw", a super nice 1946 CJ-2A in it's weathered form and complete with pine needles still on the floor boards, it's hard not to want something just like it and to leave it just like it. I mean, how much fun would it be to wheel this thing. :yup:

This thing is awesome. The only thing I would do is a complete mechanical makeover and leave the body as is. Maybe a seat cushion redo with old canvas.
