New Jeep owner!

Good evening,
I just purchased an 07 wrangler X. There is a bit of seepage around the front and rear differential casings. I will be replacing the fluid and gaskets in the next couple days and wondered what is the preferred fluid to use. I live in Colorado so winters are colder and the trails more fun!

Any preferences I should be aware of?

First things first.... Congrats on your Jeep. Now get out there and get the wrenching done so you can hit the trails and take plenty of pictures of your favorite trail. I look forward to seeing Colorado through your Jeep driving eyes.

Any decent 75-90 gear lube will work. You can use RTV instead of paper gaskets for the diff covers too.

I've run royal purple and had good luck with it but I think any full synthetic would work well. Also if I remember correctly and you have a limited slip diff it requires an oil with friction modifiers. The right stuff gasket maker has worked well when I installed my front ARB diff cover.
