I got a 2012 Jk, 55 000 miles, always washed and stored in the garage, I noticed today all 4 hinges have the paint bubbling up on them, any one else have this problem ?

Mine is an 07 with 100k and it is doing it. I have a friend with a 14 that had 35k and his hinges were starting to bubble. I think the big issue is that they bolt the hinges on the doors before painting at the factory, so the hinge face against the door is bare steel. Over time the moisture works into the hinge and when it gets hot the hinges sweat and the moisture trapped under the paint starts to corrode. Bad planning in the assembly office.

110k on mine the rear tailgate hinges were fully rusted. Got MOREYDE ones and im very happy.
