First time caller here. I just bought a 95 YJ with a blown 2.5 and automatic w/AC. The excellent frame condition and factory air really appealed to me, and i knew i was going to replace the motor anyway. I bought a decent AX15 tranny ($60.00, couldn't resist) to throw in the mix (cause who wants an automatic?). I didn't think this through, obviously. Has anyone switched the auto for a standard? How difficult is this? Aside from finding a new (used) pedal assembly, what else should i be thinking about? Any recommendations? I'm not looking to go beast mode on the highway, just keep up with traffic. I'll probably be sporting 31's at the most, tire wise. Considering that the transmission I have is trouble free, should it do ok with the standard jeep 4.0 (easy to swap out the 2.5)?
