    Disaster averted

Who can spot impending catastrophic failure? I just noticed this in my driveway, after a day of hard wheeling at Calico yesterday. Disaster averted, thankfully.

    Check your rigs, folks.

Nope. 75 mph all the way home. I could let go of the wheel and it still tracked straight.

I was going to recenter my steering wheel this afternoon and noticed abnormal camber. Started looking around and saw this.

I got lucky. If that let go on the freeway ....

I donít know. I think the raised tie rod with the Reids would require a bunch of other mods, such as relocating my PSC ram, which Iíd prefer to avoid. Iíll have to do some research.

Yes, it would. Good point. But they are massive compared to the OEMs.

About us
ďwayoflifeĒ is a moniker that Iíve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
