I believe he said "I felt like more gas would help" or something to that effect. 😂

Yeah, that might've been the last straw. 😎

Brute helped me out, but thanks all the same!

I have to believe the Reid’s are significant stronger. Here’s a picture I found comparing them.

How much you’d have to discuss with them. But in the picture, you can see how much that tie rod gets raised.

Thanks. There is some verbiage on Reid’s site about extra material and extra strength, but the “off road use only” admonition and the disclaimer of any warranty don’t exactly inspire confidence.

The spacer has worked out great.
Just get a slightly longer bolt and I went from the bottom up.
    Thanks. Effective solution.

I’m still undecided. Probably will just install Brute’s OEM knuckles, save $400-500, and call it a day.

Ed (Brute) graciously sent me a set of OEM knuckles. I installed the driver side knuckle and that’s served me well for a couple of months. Im the meantime, I picked up some Rancho knuckles. To install those, I need to cut my PSC ram tabs off the TB bracket and move them up 1.5 inches. Got the new tabs today from Summit. Question is, while I have it all apart, should I install the dynatrac ball joints that have been sitting in my garage for a while, or get some more life out of the synergy’s I have in now?

I vote start fresh with the Prosteers... eliminates any question of fault in the new build.

Yes for sure. Between that and the cracked knuckle discovery, I think I’ve maxed out my luck for a while.

Yeah, doesn’t make a lot of sense to have them sitting in the garage. On the other hand, I’d like to amortize the synergys.

Oh man, I’ve had the death wobble fun in the past. It really sucks.

Yeah there’s something to that logic. No matter what, between the knuckles and the transfer case, I have projects to keep me busy for a while.

About us
“wayoflife” is a moniker that I’ve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
