Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the mopar wiring vs aftermarket wiring kits?

Shouldn’t be any. If I remember correctly there was just a plug behind the drivers side tail light. Both kits should be plug and play unless you got a crap wiring harness. I think mine was the branded quadratec and was substantially cheaper than the mopar.

Mine was the same, I bought the aftermarket that just plugged into the factory harness with no cutting for my TJ and JL.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking that there was no difference but with all the computer equipment on vehicles now I just wanted to make sure.

I thought the Mopar has the 7 and 4 pin and aftermarket only has the 4 pin?
