Ok I've got a 2008 JK and want to install a power inverter to use to recharge power tools, laptops, etc while we camp and hunt. I think I'm going with the Cobra kit but still can't decide where to install the plugs. I'm thinking on the front side of the center console. Thoughts?

is that a indash kit or a stand alone unit
ive been looking at the stand alone type but have not found any that mount in dash/vehicle

It's a stand alone, but is made for permanent mounting. Will extend the wires and mount AC and USB in dash.
