I love my manual, I've got no problem on the rocks, in fact I like it more than my Auto i sold. I just keep my foot off the clutch and only give it gas when I absolutely need to.

    manual vs auto

Hill climbs are one of the only areas i can think of where an automatic is better......

I am really enjoying my manual trans

I have a manual JKUR and have never had much problems in either scenario. I'd assume like the JK, the JL comes with hill start assist so you don't roll back for a few seconds. It's kind of weird and I still have not decided if I like it or not and I've been driving it for 7+ years...haha. In traffic you just drive like a trucker instead of a CA asshole and its not bad...

My TJ was a stick, my JK was a stick, my JL is a stick, and when I get the JT... that too will be a stick. I feel it's sacrilegious to have an automatic Jeep.

About us
“wayoflife” is a moniker that I’ve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
