I just bought an 08 wrangler and was only given one key. This key starts the jeep and thats it. I cant lock anything. How much would getting keys to fit the outside locks cost?

To just lock the doors with a standard cut key, you’d probably only be lookin at a few bucks.

The same key should unlock the doors and run the ignition. Something must have been changed at some point

My 08 only came with one key (bought it used). It’s the fob with the lock/unlock/panic buttons on it and it starts the Jeep and can manually lock/unlock my doors too. Not sure why yours would be different?

Doors could be off a different Jeep

If it doesn't fit in the driver's door or the tailgate I would say the ignition was changed. The only way to get a key for the door is going to the dealer

Door keys are just keys. Any reputable locksmith can do it. They normally charge less too if you bring the lock to them indoors (pop your door off)

take the VIN off the Jeep and take to your dealer. get them to cut a dummy key from the code. if it works the doors you know your ignition was changed etc etc. this will give you a base line where to start.
