3rd time replacing tie rod ends

I normally drive on washboard roads with my sway bar disconnected in two wheel drive. I do a little rock crawling but nothing major. So I was wondering if it would help my tie rod ends last longer if I DID NOT disconnect my sway bar? I'm only running 33" A/T tires with a 3.5" lift.

I don’t see how the sway bar disconnect or not would make any difference. What brand of tie rod ends are you buying? Maybe time for an upgrade! It’s a good excuse anyway. [emoji16]

That's what I thought but just wanted to double check. I'm going with Moog parts, it's a nice upgrade for me.

You need one of these:

Then you have a much heavier one ton tie rod end, and a much better rod as well.
Or you can keep wearing out stock parts and replacing them with the same thing
