    Oil change indicator.

I did an oil change on my 14 4dr just under 1200 miles ago, today the change oil indicator started coming on every time I start it. Is this a problem or does it think it’s time because I didn’t do the reset when I changed it last time?

If you didn’t reset it after the last oil change that’s why. The computer doesn’t know when you do them unless you tell it.

IIRC, you turn the key on, then press the gas pedal down 3 times within 10 seconds and then turn key off and it will reset. Double check your owner's manual but I think that's how you reset it.

That’s how I do it. Turn it to On, not Acc and not running, stomp gas pedal 3 times, turn key to off. Done!

About us
“wayoflife” is a moniker that I’ve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
