RPM Question

So I just recently got back from Arizona in the Flagstaff area and I notice that my Jeep shifts around 4500 rpms. Even when I was in the city going up smaller hills it wouldn’t shift gears just keep climbing rpms until I left off the gas then it would act normal. I have 5.13 just put in about 2000 miles ago and it was reprogrammed. I’m sorry this sounds like a silly question just trying to figure it out.

Be sure the programmed tire size is the actual, not stated. Measure from the ground to the center of your hub then multiply by 2.

Yep on the tire size! ^^^

Similar situation recently after regearing to 4.56 on 35’s. It was worst going from 2-3. I disconnected the negative cable from the battery for some welding on the Jeep recently. For whatever reason, after that, it felt normal. I did have some reprogramming issues at first, so it may have been a combination of things. For what it’s worth...

Any luck? Curious if you tried the battery trick and if it worked for you. Mine seems to be coming back. I’ve checked fluids and all show full. Could be the spring winds here though, messing with mine.

I did disconnect the battery and reinstalled all the updates to the Jeep and so far so good.
