JK D30 3.73 - Do I have to remove the ring gear to remove the roll pin?

It's for my 2010 jku. I'm gonna be installing a lokka (aussie) locker up front along with chromoly axles. I'm sure there are other threads on this but I can't find any. If anyone has a link to a lunchbox jk writeup, I'd appreciate it.

edit: A thread I read says 3.21 clears the roll pin and 4.10's don't. what about 3.73?

Not that big of a deal. I would be more worried about running a locker up front especially being that you live in Colorado.

Thanks, I saw that page. I thought the jk carrier was setup differently. I know some people that run Detroit's in the winter no problem, so I think it should be fine next winter
