I created this for those of us that are missing a couple of doors. Lots of specs and info that differs from that of the 4 door species. Add “Rubicon“ and the specs change even more. I challenge the forum to list specs that are specific to the 2 door persuasion.

Make sure you get that in writing from whoever tells you that warranty will still stand after you modify your vehicle.

Good point. Not taking any chances. Having the dealership do the work even though I know of specialist that would do a better job on the geometry adjustments.

I also know that the stock rubicon are already stiffer than the sport. The question I have is, is it even worth it. The short Mopar lift may not be a big enough difference to warrant the 1,500 cost of the parts not to mention the labor.

Honestly I wouldn't waste your money at the dealership. Plus I doubt anything they sell you will maintain your warranty if they so choose. Do a lot of research and buy a quality lift. I'd save and get what you really want, not "I'll get this for now". You'll typically end up spending more money in the long run buying multiple lifts. Also with a basic mechanics tool set, jack, and Jack stands you can install most lifts in a weekend. Especially with the write ups here. I'd guess you'll easily save yourself $1000 over having the dealership install it. Plus you'll get to know your jeep. Just some food for thought.

Good advice there. Id look at Evo and rancho first. Eddie has put a few lifts on his JL already. A 2 door cant be much different.
