Sub and amp wiring

I want to run my speaker wire to my amp from the stock sub wires. Where is the factory amp located? If I splice the wires next to the rear seat, will I be before or after them? (2013 alpine jku)

I don’t have one but I think I remember hearing somewhere it’s behind the drivers kick panel under the steering wheel

I found the wire, thanks for the reply. Now , when the amp is hooked up to both positive and negative speaker wires from the radio, the subs will not hit. When the negative is unhooked, it works fine. *
