    Question Best road tires for my Rubicon

    I just recently got my new 2019 JLU Rubicon and we will be doing more cross country interstate driving than off road at this point. We are thinking of upgrading Wheels so would also be doing tires as well. So I’m wondering about recommendations for tires instead of the factory for our travels.

    I have the s/t maxx and love them. Rotation every oil change and run them about 28 psi. Mine are 315’s.

    What about Toyo Open Country RT’s. I those would fit the bill nicely, if you don’t like the look of the Ridge Grapplers.

    R/T's are a great tire but for what he is wanting I think the AT2 is a better tire for interstate driving especially if he gets the at2 in 285/70-17 P rated.

    The AT2 look a little wimpy in the small sizes but start to look nice when you get to floatation sizes.
