Rubicon Transfer Case Swap

Caught the Bug
I have a 2010 JKU Islander (Basically a Sport with Badges) 3.8 liter automatic. I am going to swap my existing transfer case with a Rubicon Transfer case. Is there any requirements for flashing the computer or reprogramming due to the swap?/

Answered my own question, went out to my Jeep and pulled my AEV Pro Cal quick reference guide and found out I can program the 4:1 ratio with it.

Once you get it installed put it in 4lo and see if it goes to limp mode haha. From everything I read when I did my tcase swap any programmer that has 4lo ratio in it will prevent it from going into limp mode and I'm pretty sure it was only the later model automatics but it could still affect the 2010 maybe.

When I did this swap on my 07, there was no need for programming anything. I’m thinking your ‘10 will be the same. You’re going to love the extra pulling power in 4lo if you do a lot of crawling.
