Exhaust spacer question...

There is no spacer needed if you got new driveshafts. The spacer are used because the fat factory drive shaft with a boot. The exhaust pipe cuts the boot and the joint goes dry and fails. You are all good.

Resurrecting an old thread while I wait for my exhaust to cool off.

I just installed a new T-case seal and in order to do this I removed the aFe y-pipe I installed. I have wanted to put my stock Y-pipe back in. Before I reinstalled the whole exhaust I disco'd the front and jacked up the jeep from the T-case crossmember to get the front axle to droop. Before I even hit that point my 1310 front drive shaft was resting on the crossover pipe. I know I should be fine but with this contact it had me concerned. Has anyone else had this issue with an aftermarket driveshaft?

Edit: Actually after looking at the stock pipe closer it'll block the manual trans drain plug so for the sake of more convenient maintenance I'm reinstalling the aFe y-pipe. I figure I'll be changing the trans oil more frequently than T-case seals..haha.
