Thanks all! It was a great day on the trail. Even with the unexpected hiccup.

I am impressed with that patch kit... guess I never even thought a sidewall would be repairable enough to get off the trail like that. Glad you made it back safe

Definitely not something you really want to do, but can be done. It also need to be tended to frequently to make it work.

It is a dumb ass option. My daughters Jeep Compass came the same way and didnít realize it till we got it home and was going through it. You would think it would be standard equipment, but NO! It comes with a FN compressor to air up a flat tire...wait, why is it flat? Compressor isnít worth a shit. Spare makes much more sense. At least Jeep placed a recessed tub in the back for a spare so that the carpet can lay flat- - - Rant over!!!!
I feel your frustration from here man, wish I was closer to give you a hand. Good luck and keep us posted

After messing with the compressor that came with the Jeep. I noticed a knob to turn. itís also got a fix-a-flat reservoir, you can pump into the tire. Not that that would have helped me today, but good to know.

About us
ďwayoflifeĒ is a moniker that Iíve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
