Tips installing grommet lights

I cannot for the life of me get these poison spyder lights inside these grommets. Iv tried dish soap around the edge, wd40, and a heat gun. Nothing is working, any trick you guys know of?

I’m guessing you’re referring to the 4.5” flush mount trailer style lights? I had generic ones not PS, but you could push the face of the grommet ‘more’ flush then where it sits then insert the light at a 90* directly into it as far as you can. Rotate the light flush and then pull / push from behind forward and they snap in place.

Heat gun should have done it. But maybe try putting them in really hot water for a bit. And you also install the grommet in the corner and then put the light in.
