I thought I would post up a review here of this truck.

I used one last weekend to take a trailer to Northern Nevada to retrieve my F-350. I pulled this 9 ton equipment trailer up, and the Ram did great. The trailer is heavy, at about 4800# empty.

Running mostly 65 with the trailer, I got a hair over 20 mpg going from SoCal to Yerington NV.

I hauled the Ram back, for several reasons, mainly the F-350 crew cab long bed won't fit on the trailer, plus it would have been about 3,000# over the rated towing capacity.

After I got back, I ran the Ram for a 250 mile round trip, and it got nearly 25 mpg running close to 80 most of the time.

All in all, I think it did a great job, both loaded and empty.

Not bad at all. I Think Ram’s done a great job with their 2019 + truck line up.

The Ram 1500 is my dream - I've read a lot of positive reviews about this car, especially noted the engine: great power and fast speed dial!

Compare that to my 2016 Ram crew cab with the 5.7 Hemi. It does have oversized tires on it (275/65 r20). I towed my travel trailer to the Smokey Mountains. It weighs about 3,500 pounds dry. I averaged about 8.5 mpg.
