THIS IS NOT A CRIME - This is #ESSENTIALTRAVEL

In spite of the flak that I'm sure I'll get from some, I refuse to be placed unjustly under house arrest or accept the idea that driving out into a vast open desert with the nearest anyone being 100 miles away, is somehow, "unnecessary travel". To me, this IS essential travel and NOT A CRIME. Needless to say, Cindy and I have been purposefully getting out and exploring if only for our health and well being and if you're anything like us, we'd love to see some pics of your essential travels.

Unfortunately, last weekends run is not quite as epic of a location as out west, but Freedom is Freedom!

I thank my Governor for looking out for me, but I think I can make my own decisions regarding my personal safety! I’ve been out every weekend exploring and hiking.

Last weekend was essential, as will be this weekend, even if we don't have a plan, yet.

Your Jeep came with "Freedom Tops" so you are free to roam.

Completely agree! I plan on hitting up Redbird SRA as soon as it dries out a little... I don't think anyone says it is a crime to leave your house. Just keep distance from people and minimize contact with community surfaces that could spread COVID. Hell, the great outdoors has got to be WAY safer than any populated place...

Great thread!

I didn't take any pics yesterday but I did an essential shake down of the 4" plush rides I installed a couple weeks ago. Lisa and I went out into the desert near our house for about an hour or so. We also wanted to see just how much growth the desert has had in the last week after our rains. Its pretty crazy out there. Also I'm loving the added inch (bring on the jokes). The bottoming out at speed wasn't nearly as jarring. 55-60mph down a whooped out rutted dirt road was so smooth. We both braced ourselves as we crossed one wash out then laughed as it soaked it up. A new front axle purchase is only a matter of time as I know I'll be pushing it too hard...haha.

So many good reasons to live where the outdoors is accessible!

I'm out driving daily but in Texas; no need to post pics, y'all know what roads and freeways look like LOL
