JK body lift: Daystar vs. Rough Country

Daystar sells a 1" BL kit for about $200
Rough Country sells a 1.25" BL kit for about $100

Does anyone know if they're made of the same materials, because they look the same.

Daystar is really drilling into the marketing the material that they're using for the oval shaped pucks - but what is RC's kit made out of?

Just curious since I think I will be getting one of these.

I would guess polyurethane as that is what most kits are made from.

I had the daystar Body lift on my last jeep. It has a metal core with poly outside it. They state that the material helps eliminate road noise. I didnt notice a difference at all from stock. Cant speak on how good or bad any other company is, but stock is metal so I cant see how any aftermarket BL thats metal would be any different. I would go with what's the cheapest.

About us
“wayoflife” is a moniker that I’ve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
