JLU soft brakes

jeeeep

Hooked
last week on startup, my brakes almost went to the floor and had to pump them a couple of times.

Since then, the brakes have felt soft, fluid level is full.

Wondering if it's because of the 37's? but they've been on since March and not something I experienced with the JKU

Anyone else experience this?

Fluid had to go somewhere... Check all of your fittings and lines for brake fluid leaks, and make sure all of your brake pads are in place in the calipers. If it were me wouldn't drive it until I found the problem and repaired it.

ETA: I misread, I thought you said the fluid level is low...

My JL stock brakes sucks too. I'm running stock 33" tires and it's super mushy.

Tires don’t effect the pressure feel from the pedal. If the pedal went to the floor you have a problem. Master cylinder, leak, or abs module. Something happened.

As mentioned tires don’t effect pedal feel. You have air in your brake system somehow or your master cylinder is failing. If it’s under warranty I would bring it to the dealer and have them look at it. Master would be replaced under bumper to bumper warranty
