Next up is continue disassembling anything I’m not reusing and go through the engine. Radiator is draining right now to be pulled and will have lots of easy access to the front of the engine.

Hey, look - a heater core and fan motor mounted on the fire wall so you don't have to tear out the entire goddam dash to change. What a novel concept. I so miss being able to work on the older stuff easily.

For contrast - here's a pic of Weebz's Audi - he's changing the AC condenser

    Saving a 1978 J-10

Oh I know, such an easy layout to work on. Finding time is the only hard part.

Such a breathe of fresh are from working on my Cadillac which has taken the backseat. Nothing is easy to get to in there.

Looks a lot like my S4. I had to do the same thing to change the belt.

She is needing some love, mostly in being cleaned up and everything gone through. Especially the engine, which does still run and drive, but is quite literally crying for help.

Looking for any input as to what to look for or what to do to her. Also will be keeping up to date on my Instagram also if you want to follow along @Howaboutno

List of things already on order.
    -New windshield and gasket
-All door and window weather stripping
-All engine/transmission/transfer care gaskets and seals
    -All new fluids
    -Fuel filter assembly
    -Hood bumpers
    -Engine/trans mounts
    -Metal protector and cleaning products
    -Diff fluid/gaskets
-Synthetic line for the Warn 8274
    -Warn fairlead and windshield banner
    -LED headlights/tail lights/auxiliary lights

Making a little progress. Still waiting for the majority of parts to come in. And need more hours added to the day.

I have yet to figure out why Audi made their design to include that “service mode”. Royal pain in the ass.

About us
“wayoflife” is a moniker that I’ve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
