So here is the start of Tank(tentatively).
2015 JKU
Black Hardtop for the Winter
Bestop Trektop NX Glide for the summer
17" Pro Comp Wheels
305 Cooper Discoverer Tires
2.5" Rough Country Lift Kit
Quick Disconnect Front Sway Bars
Smittybilt Front and Rear 3" Tube Bumpers
Smittybilt SRC Side Armor Steps
Smittybilt XRC Tire Carrier
KC Apollo Pro 6" Fog lights

The question is, what's next!?!?!

I would like to do trails and some overlanding, but it is still my daily driver. Live in Northern Ohio, will travel for trails!

I was thinking control's arms, track bar, steering stabilizer.

Also, would love opinions on where to mount your hi lift jack.

Can't wait to talk to other people about this! 20200614_173509.jpg 20200525_160558.jpeg 20200610_120911.jpg 20190605_181610.jpg 20190331_134120.jpg

Love that color. You don't need a new axle, the D30 will last with that tire size.If it were my Jeep i would get a new front bumper and winch along with a tow strap and shackles.I had a Rugged Ridge high lift mount on the back of mine that worked great. It attached to the tailgate hinges.

I agree that your D30 is fine for what you have planned and the tires you selected. A winch goes a long way toward piece of mind. Too bad you already invested in the front tube bumper. Cb radio is handy if you’re planning to do some group rides.

I second getting a winch next. Being able to rescue yourself is a big step toward feeling secure going out on your own.

Nice to see another Tank build on here. Good luck with it and definitely go with recovery equipment to start.

Well, looking to the next project. As winter approaches I am going to be getting ready for it in Cleveland. Going to hit the frame with Por 15. While I'm at it I figured I would remove the control arms and all the steering accessories as well as the shocks and springs. All going to get cleaned up and treated, then painted with a dark tan. Posting some before shots now, I will post after later. Any suggestions always open to hear ideas. 20200921_165604.jpeg 20200921_165549.jpeg 20200921_165552.jpeg 20200921_165448.jpeg 20200921_165441.jpeg 20200921_165436.jpeg 20200921_165427.jpeg
