    Steering Wheel Over Rotating

Bounced around on beach yesterday and after airing up noticed my steering wheel was rotating way past normal. Wondering if this is a steering gear issue that can be tightened up or replaced, or maybe something else. Already plan on replacing most of steering linkage this week anyways but this is a new twist.

    Yj or tj?

Nothing should be able to make the steering wheel take more turns. If your steering gear is THAT shot that you can turn the wheel (input) without the same output at the pitman, it likely would’ve killed you on the road by now.

Can you elaborate on what it’s actually doing? How many more turns of what vs what it used to be etc.

Any other changes? Things like maybe you took the sway bar links off to play?

Joe Biden, is that you? Please elaborate.
"And I sincerely believe with you, that banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies; and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity, under the name of funding, is but swindling futurity on a large scale." -Thomas Jefferson.

About us
“wayoflife” is a moniker that I’ve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
