2021 JLR shuttering/clunking when turning

I've had this thing for 200 miles and I think something is up unfortunately. I'm hearing a shuttering/clunking noise when doing a U-turn at slow speeds, it seems to be coming from the rear end.
I uploaded a short clip so you guys can hear what I'm talking about. you can't really hear it unless you hold the speaker up close to your ear or have headphones on but once you hear it you'll know what I'm talking about.

here's me doing donuts in my backyard to recreate the noise.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RIGl5Urgq_I you can really hear it at 13 seconds

anyone know what this could be?

Does it only do it when you turn to the left? Did you install any larger tires or anything yet?

I’d take it right back to the dealer for all you’ve mentioned so far.

Would any Jeep dealership be fine or is it better to take it to the one I bought it at?

Any should be fine but I’ve heard that service departments are more accepting if you bought it from them. Just what I’ve heard though. Not sure if it’s true.

I got an appointment for tomorrow morning, hopefully they don’t give me too much trouble!

Had someone just tell me that bad paint looks like a bad bondo job with paint over it. I really hope this isn’t the case. Gonna have to take a look when I get out of work...

It's brand new. I wouldn't worry about them giving you any grief at all.

Jeep cares “handed my case over to a specialist since your Jeep is so new” they’re supposed to be contacting me within the day in regards to the tailgate. The service guy at the dealership told me it’s a factory defect.
Still no update from the dealer on the noise.

I’ll post updates in here In case someone in the future has similar issues

The dealership owns a touch of responsibility on this too, in my opinion. They should be giving the vehicle a thorough inspection upon delivery and that paint defect is about as bad as you get...and should have been addressed before sale

Hopefully the dealer takes care of you. I agree that tail gate looks like a shitty bond job, but I would assume that's not the case on a new vehicle.
Interested to hear what the dealer does for you.

They told me to kick rocks basically, until it/if it gets worse so they can locate the noise/problem. (I was told this exact thing by two different dealerships)
At this point I’m over it, just gonna enjoy the Jeep and if my rear diff explodes It’ll be replaced. if it breaks after my 5 year power train warranty runs out I guess I got an excuse to throw a D60 under there.

Jeep cares confirmed the tailgate was a factory defect and offered to have a dealership repaint the inside area and that’s it

I was going to suggest you put one rear tire on a patch of ice and floor it and maybe it will break when it catches traction, then I noticed you are from south Florida. Never mind

Hell who knows? Loose lug nuts? Is it in 4WD? Given the looks of your tailgate it could be anything. Obviously your quality control expert was having coffee or in the shitter when your JL passed by. To the dealer, any dealer, you must go. I’d demand a new tailgate and complain mightily given the coin you shelled out for it.

Quick update in case anyone is having a similar issue or has it in the future. The “shuttering” has been tracked down to being the fuel pump. It sounds like a physical knocking noise. It only really happens between 1800-2200rpm. It does it even in park or neutral.

The dealership who sold me the Jeep is saying that the new JL fuel pumps are louder than JKs and the reason I hear it is because I have a 2door and the tank is a lot closer to me than a 4door or gladiator.

If it’s truly the noise it makes then I’m cool with it, it doesn’t bother me. I’m just more worried I bought a defective vehicle. If any one also hears it or has any experience on the topic I’d appreciate any advice.
