Correct fluid weight for stock Sahara 2012 diffs

Caught the Bug
The manual states 85-90 but others advised me to run 75-90 in the front, and 75-140 rear. This is for a 2012 JKU Sahara with open front and rear. I'd like to run synthetic. Any advice?

I put Amsoil 75-90 severe gear in both on my 2012 Sport with open diffs. I also put on Lube Locker gaskets, so I never have mess with the RTV again.

I have the lubelockers as well. Came with my package deal at north ridge. So no 75-140? I have a 5000 drive to moab coming up in two weeks.

I'd use what the manual states, if it has a different recommendation of gear oil weight for towing use the towing recommendation. If you're still under warranty, the last thing you want is to use a non-approved weight, have issues and they would blame that as the cause...no more warranty coverage. manual should also state if synthetic can be used or if additive required
