The directions are pretty good. I'm halfway through in four hours(new towers aren't on).
Some notes: don't plan on salvaging the factory towers.
Use a torch(way faster) we used a saws all, and cutting wheel on the first side and it took a while.
I used a piece of plate rather than a fire blanket to protect the abs lines and brake lines while cutting the towers off.
Saws all blades get HOT...

I'll be done tomorrow and I'll put up more notes and let y'all know how it rides

Looks great so far! After the first couple beers I am sure it helps to steady the torch!

Yeah I had that same thought for a second when I started my Full Traction long arm lift. Mine had less than 1500 miles on it. I told the wife "OK I'll be in the garage working on the lift" Her response "OK I'll be in here on Pintrest" (Damn how I hate Pintrest, creates too many Honey-do's...haha. OK back on topic). As soon as she heard the angle grinder cutting into the first UCA mount she came flying out into the garage (Actually broke away from Pintrest believe it or not..haha) and screamed "What the hell are you doing?" To my reply "Installing the lift like I said I was going to do" Her: "You didn't tell me you had to cut stuff off, its brand new!" My response: "Had I told you that you wouldn't have let me do it". This went back and forth for a few more minutes and she went back inside and mumbled "I cant believe he's cutting up our brand new jeep" 3 1/2 weeks later it went from this:

And will continue to grow up! It's all part of being a Jeep owner and I don't know how I wasn't sooner..haha. Yours looks great and I can't wait to see the finished product. I too would like coil-overs one day. Maybe next year, I want 37's first so that's the goal I've set for my build this year..haha.

It went pretty good yesterday, got all of my control arms on the towers on and kings mounted all I have to do is tighten everything up and put my wheels and tires on.
More notes:
Taking the coilovers apart is easy and to test fit them u have to remove at least one spring(it's in bold on the instructions too)
The blue bushings on top of the shocks will make u hate ur life because they fall of right when ur about to have the shocks mounted
Cutting the lower shock mount is probably easiest with a saws all, I grinded part of the weld on the axle housing where the lower spring perch is located to get the new bracket to fit

Forgot one thing don't plan on finishing in less that eight hours that's where I'm at with a welder and literally taking no breaks

Coming along nicely, cant wait to see the next set of pics from today!

From the sounds of it, going to be a full 2.5 day project?

The welding was quick like 10 minutes tops sdg is right it was prepping and grinding the surfaces and getting them ready to weld that took forever the brake lines are hard to get out of the way and the small spaces made it hard to get a grinder in and to be honest I'm not that great with a torch
