Just can't see spending $27K right off the bat for an upgrade. If I were to this the original powerplant must first fail completely then it will still be hard to justify. JMHO.
Majority of that price is labor. From what I've seen, the engine price starts at 5k to 15k (depending how of a big engine you want) and the engine mounts and other items around 5-6k.
You can get a 6.1 Hemi and purchase a stroker kit to convert hemi into a 7.0 Hemi 426.
