Hello!
Here's some pics from our drive through the abandoned French Mines near Hedley in Southern British Columbia last weekend.
Now, driving in this place is not without risk. The ceiling is coming down. I did crack my front windshield and dent my hood a little when a chunk of rock the size of a softball came down on us. Not safe! But one hell of an adventure!
Makes your Reward Mine pics/vids from California look like a cake walk! Regardless, the Reward Mine is on my list ;-)
In BC, our moist and cold environment ensures our caves and mining shafts dilapitate much quicker than dryer climates.
